Yuanshan Lantern Festival

The other Indonesian intern, Puspita, has started her project one month earlier before I came here. So she goes home first. On the last Monday before she goes home, Aunty and Eva took us to Taipei to visit  the Yuanshan Lantern Festival. There are many other similar lantern festivals in other areas, and it is related to the Chinese New Year event that is celebrated in February 2013.
Actually what I imagined before is the real lantern, the one that is lighted by the fire. But then when I arrive there, I'm a bit surprised finding the lanterns there. So here are the pictures :

It's me!

Sweet, isn't it?

Beautiful ocean of lighting

The center of the celebration. Welcome to the year of Snake!
