A trip to Yilan

In the third week, suddenly Uncle and Aunty have to go to Yilan, because Uncle had something to do regarding the farm association. He is now chosen to be the leader of some farmers, so he had to finish some administration stuff. Fortunately, Eva can join us! Hooraaay! :D
On the way to Yilan, we take the longest tunnel in East Asia, called Hsuehshan Tunnel. It connects Taipei and Yilan with distance of 12 km. Amazing!
We arrived in Yilan at around 7 PM, so we felt very hungry. We went to Luodong Night Market to grab some food. We ate the famous yang ruo dishes, which is made from goat meat. Honestly speaking, I don't really like goat meat. It stinks.
Luodong Tourist Night Market, might be the most crowded place in Yilan?

Met a very cute girl helping her Papa selling peanut ice cream :')

After that we headed to Shangrila Leisure Farm in Luodong. It's a farm owned by Uncle's friend. We were welcomed warmly by lots of food and long chat. Eva and I decided to leave the discussion at 11 PM and we got around the leisure farm at night. It's pretty big and very beautiful, because located in the top mountain of Yilan.

Eva and I shared this room. Too big for two people actually

In the morning, we left at 7 AM, and dropped Uncle in an office. Then Aunty took Eva and I to Shangrila Boutique Hotel, a famous boutique hotel in downtown Yilan. It is owned by the same owner of the last night farm. Very beautiful hotel. It adopts the style of Santorini in Greece. We went inside for a short hotel tour :)

And there's a very famous church, usually used by rich couples to get married, and sometimes some movies take this church for background of their film

Looks like swimming pool, but it's not.

Very Piao Liang (beautiful) lobby

After Uncle had done with his business, we picked him up and we had lunch with his colleagues. Here are some photos of the food :

I don't know the name.

And after the lunch, we headed to an office where Uncle needs to have discussion. It's the office of Taiwan Leisure Farm Development Association. Turns out that they're setting schedule for Uncle's training session.

They give me name card holder as souvenir :)

And also a set of spoon, fork and chopstick. Thank you!
